Douglas Detrick’s AnyWhen Ensemble @ SF Center For New Music

This concert will be a one-of-a-kind new music party with Douglas Detrick’s AnyWhen Ensemble, Lisa Mezzacappa’s String Band and Addleds the brutally minimal improvising quartet of Kyle Bruckmann (oboe/English horn), Tony Dryer (contrabass), Jacob Felix Heule (percussion), and Kanoko Nishi (koto). This counterintuitive cross-genre collaboration is part of a mini-series supported by the San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music’s Musical Grant Program.
